Wendy and I get Mode back…back to my days equally a vegetarian when she was the but fast food eatery that embraced annihilation remotely non-animalish.

Fast forrard 10 years and I was working at a hospital where the closest place to avoid hospital food was a Wendy's in the adjoining parking lot. I lived on baked potatoes and Frosty's.

Motility forward some other ten years (OK, mayhap more than…but really, who is counting?) and I was recruited to participate in a Dallas blogger event to try the new Wendy'south Pick 2 Menu.

I am at that place!

Literally, we all met at the Wendy's in Richardson, TX.

Wendy treated u.s. to our option of the new Selection 2 Menu – that sounds much easier than it is in existent life.

In that location are four salads, broiled potatoes, chili, salary jr. cheeseburger, chicken wrap and a diversity of drinks.   I will take Wendy's word for it that in that location are 28 combinations possible.*

*I was too busy eating to do the math.

I chose the Apple Pecan Craven Salad & a baked potato.

It was tasty and plenty of food.   I would totally pay $4.99 for it.*

*Full disclosure:   I DID pay $iv.99 the very next solar day when I went back to Wendy'due south and tried the BLT Cobb Salad that Lea Ann was eating across the table from me at the event.

Lea Ann DID say she would share, but I didn't want to interrupt her tweeting…

She and I always try to tweet pictures of each other on twitter at ANY result we both nourish.   It is but the fashion it is.   It is merely the way it should be.

I liked both the salads I tried and couldn't name a favorite even so until I endeavour the other ii. I love a fancy salad.

The other thing that is amazing near the Pick ii Menu is that it is not just reasonably priced and contains salubrious choices, information technology is available through the DRIVE THRU.

My kinda place.
